Things you shouldn't put on your online dating profile...

...and, yes, I have seen each of these.

Want kids: No
Have kids: Yes
(Wow, think you have some issues to work out there)

The improper use of there/their/they're
(You don't have to be a genius, but at least try to impress with your profile. It is like not proof-reading a resume.)

Photos of you and a chick with her boobs falling out
(Obviously you have no problem meeting women)

Photo of you taking your own picture in a mirror
(Really? You don't have any other pictures of yourself?)

Great profile, hot picture, ends with "oh, and I'm moving to Alabama soon"
(I was ready to contact this one up until the last line.)

What is with the motorcross obsession? Are you required to date online if you race motorcycles?

Check one: Single, divorced, widowed, seperated
(Folks, you should not be dating if you are seperated-get a divorce first!)

31 year old men who look 50 or 14
(Couldn't you have found a more flattering photo? I know this isn't your fault but it sucks for me.)

Ugh, being single sucks.

I knew this was going to be good just by seeing the title. And you didn't disappoint. I like the new layout on your blog, btw.

Loved this post! I can so relate! Haha. Being single does suck. When I tell people I'm divorced they get really quiet, losers!

before i met garrett - not thru online dating, we were set up by a mutual friend - i did an LDS online dating thing on and off for about 2 years. i'd do it for a while, then get so fed up about it. then i'd be so bored, i thought "at least i can have someone pay for my meals"

i'm sorry you have to go through this. it sucks. we just don't have, as teachers, many outlets to meet single men. good luck!

plus, i love the new bloggy layout.
