Back to School!

First day back to MY class was great. I've missed them and they really are turning into a good class. Definitly maturing! I swear one of the boys grew four inches over break! It makes it so nice to teach when you have enthusiastic kids who respect you and work hard.

Confession time. I peeked at their "confidental" school surveys. No names and I didn't bother to figure out the handwriting. Thankful no one turned me in for showing naked pictures like that dear kiddo from two years ago. Lots of them mentioned the best part of school was their teacher! That they felt respected by me! Yea! I hope they know how much I care about "my" kiddies.

Downside of the day was finishing off the last of the Valentines' Day Skittles. Ugh, blew my diet big time. I've been tracking my food intake and trying to keep in a certain range. Not being real militant about it but trying. Today was HORRIBLE! Oh, well, now the Skittles are gone and tomorrow will be better!
