The H1N1 shot is just a variation of the normal flu shot. Every year they tweak the flu shot to match the strains going around. Unfortunately, the piggy version came too late to make the normal shot. It will probably be in next year's normal flu shot.
I'm all for parents' choice but I also think their information needs to be reliable like Ellie said. There is way too much misinformation and out and out lies on the Internet. In general, your chances of negative effects are much greater from the disease than from the vaccinations.
